Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions leaders ask us most, grouped by the part of our work they relate to.
General
Most training is the event and nothing else. Not only do we help you improve processes, methodology and skills, your teams will also understand how they can show up differently and engage with buyers to develop deeper conversations and create meaningful differentiation. Around two-thirds of our work is what happens before and after it: aligning your leadership, then embedding the change through coaching and accountability until it becomes how your team sells by default.
Most clients see measurable change within 100 days, and the investment typically self-funds within 12 months. We agree the measures that matter with you at the start, so progress is visible, not assumed.
Engagements run from around £4,000 a month to around £90,000 for a large programme. We publish more detailed price ranges on our pricing page, and you’d receive a full proposal outlining the commercials before you commit.
Start with the free 5-minute self-assessment. It helps you pinpoint whether you need a full growth programme or a more focused intervention, before you speak to anyone.
Depending on your needs, you will work with a carefully selected team of coaches who work with you throughout the programme. They are all practitioners who have led sales teams, not theorists.
We will tell you, and this is exactly why we start with a structured diagnostic conversation before talking about training or coaching. We won’t try to sell you a solution to a problem you do not have. If the primary constraint is not in your sales function, we will tell you clearly, and if there is a genuine fit, we will show you precisely where our programmes will have the most impact.
Approach
Most training fails because effort goes into the event and nothing else. We think of the workshop being only 20% of the work; the 40% before and 40% after are what embed the change. If your last programme faded, it’s likely the other 80% was missing.
No. Engagements range from a focused workshop or a targeted coaching intervention through to a multi-month programme. We scope to what you actually need, and the blueprint stage makes the right size clear before you commit to anything.
Every engagement is judged against two or three lead and lag indicators agreed with you upfront, things like win rate, deal size, cycle length, and the adoption of new behaviours. You see the measures before you start, not after.
Programmes are custom-designed around your market, your sales motion, and your real opportunities, not delivered from a fixed catalogue. The in-depth review exists precisely so the work fits your context.
Practitioners who have carried a quota and closed the kind of deals your team is chasing, not just presenters. That’s the difference clients most often name when they describe working with us.
Meaningful change needs your leaders involved, particularly in the reinforcement phase. That’s a genuine ask, and it’s also the single biggest predictor of whether the work sticks. We’re upfront about it rather than pretend it’s hands-off.
Sales Training
Yes, and we always do. Every workshop starts with a scoping conversation so the content, examples, and practice are built around your market, your sales motion, and the topics your team most needs. You choose the focus areas; we shape the session around your live opportunities.
Sales training is focused on teaching new skills and knowledge to a group over one or two days. Sales coaching is a one-to-one or small-group process focused on reinforcing those skills and helping individuals apply them to specific situations, such as a live opportunity.
Yes. Our virtual format of online sales training typically runs across 6-12 live, camera-on sessions with the same practical exercises as in-person delivery. Recordings and transcripts are shared with your whole team, which suits global or distributed teams well.
Workshops are designed for teams rather than individuals, and we’ll advise the right group size for your team. Larger organisations often run several cohorts of 20 delegates.
The effectiveness of any sales training initiative is measured through a combination of lead and lag indicators. Lead measures track changes in behaviour, such as the adoption of new tools or the quality of discovery calls. Lag measures track business outcomes, such as improvements in win rate, average deal size, or sales cycle length. You’ll be able to track genuine performance change, not just satisfaction scores.
Pricing depends on format, team size, location, and how much customisation you need. Every engagement begins with a call to align on content areas and desired outcomes before we send a proposal.
Sales leadership training is crucial because your leaders and managers are the primary drivers of reinforcement. Without effective and consistent coaching from their direct manager, salespeople quickly revert to old habits. Training leaders ensures your investment in the frontline team is maximised and that new skills become embedded in your team’s culture.
Sales Coaching
Training teaches new skills and frameworks to a group. Coaching reinforces those skills on real, live deals over time, adapting to each individual and each opportunity. Training builds the capability; coaching is what embeds it.
Yes. Coaching runs remotely over Zoom.
It depends on the underlying capability. If the skills are already there and the issue is consistent execution, coaching can start straight away. If the foundations aren’t in place, having training first makes coaching far more effective.
Most engagements run over several months so behaviours have time to embed, with the exact cadence agreed around your team’s needs and workload.
Through business outcomes, not attendance: win rate, average deal size, cycle length, forecast confidence, and the adoption of new behaviours on live deals.
Either. Coaching can be brought in on its own for specific people or deals, or run as the reinforcement layer inside a wider initiative.
It depends on the type of coaching, the number of people, and the cadence. Our sales coaching page gives indicative ranges. A scoping conversation will allow us to give a clearer investment guideline.

Reviews are submitted directly by clients through G2, an independent third-party review platform. G2 verifies the identity of each reviewer before a review is published. We do not edit or curate review content. The organisations represented in our G2 reviews span a range of sectors, sizes, and sales models, and it is worth spending time there to see whether the experiences described resemble your own situation.
